How is Glass Etched?
Etched glass is a type of decorative glass that has gone through a sandblasting process to create a frosted, opaque, or textured finish on the surface. The sandblasting process involves using a high-pressure stream of abrasive particles, such as sand or aluminum oxide, to remove the surface of the glass, creating a pattern or design.
Etched glass is commonly used in architectural applications, such as windows, doors, partitions, and skylights, to provide privacy, diffuse light, or create a decorative effect. It can also be used in interior design, such as for shower enclosures, mirrors, and lighting fixtures, to add texture and visual interest.
